Who We Are

We’re a family at CC. We eat together; we hang out at each other’s houses; we help each other with chores. Family. The great thing about this family: We’d love for you to join us!

We’re not just a family; we’re a family who believes in Christ’s love as our source of hope, strength, and direction; and as a community, we desire to experience God together.

What We Do

We seek to connect with one another personally and stay involved in our community, impacting our world locally, regionally, and even globally. With so many areas to plug in, you’re sure to find a place at CC. Keep an eye on the CC Calendar for upcoming events.

Food: Seldom does a Christian Community event take place without food somehow being involved. From snacks on Sunday morning to first Sunday pot luck to special events, we all like to pitch in and share meals with one another. This is no accident. We believe what sharing a meal is one of the best ways to connect with others in real ways.

Prayer: We are an actively praying community. We believe that praying individually and as a community makes a difference. more…

Small Groups: We really do life together, and small groups are core to making this happen. more…

Service: Christian Community has a strong focus on missions, and that only starts with financial support. We are involved, hands and feet, in different outreaches, locally, regionally, and globally, showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. more…

We Believe

The Bible is true. “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We need Jesus. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” John 3:16

Prayer makes a difference. “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

Small groups are important. “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Teamwork is essential. “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. ” 1 Corinthians 12:12

Authenticity is valuable. “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

We grow through struggle. “I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18

We are all called to impact the world with Christ’s love. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
