May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:23b

Praying for one another is extremely important to us at CC.

Sunday Morning

Each Sunday morning a part of our service is set about for gathering prayer request and praying for the needs of the community. This has become a beautify part of our service where people’s voices are heard and we carry those voices to God in prayer.

Prayer Request

Praying for one another is extremely important to us at CC.

If you have a prayer request you may send it to urChristianCommunitySpringfield@gmail.com. Indicate in your email if you want the request sent out to the whole community or just the prayer team.

Pray with Us thought the Week

Sunday:
Father, as we come together today to worship You and learn Your ways, may our worship be a joy to You, and may we grow in the knowledge of Your love.

Monday:
Lord, I want to be a part of what You are doing. What can I do, where I am, to join You in what You are doing in and through Christian Community in Southwest Missouri and throughout the world? Show me how I may fulfill my purpose in You, and guide me in the part I play within Your body of Christian Community.

Tuesday:
God, thank You for all the gifts and talents You have blessed Christian Community with. Please continue to provide us with the ability to do Your work by building in us gifts of the Spirit, and bring our individual gifts together so we can work in unison as one body with You leading the way.

Wednesday:
Father, thank You for the example of love we have in Jesus. Now, may we love one another as Christ loves us. Where we fall short of this love, forgive us and guide us. Continue to teach us the richness of Your mercy so we may give mercy richly. Truly, may Christian Community be known by the way we love one another.

Thursday:
Lord, protect Christian Community from division and selfish ambitions. May we instead be drawn together to strengthen and encourage one another in love. In all things, guide us in working humbly alongside one another, considering others’ needs before our own.

Friday:
Father, as we grow in being united as one body with Christ at the head, bless us by growing our understanding of Your love. May our love for one another grow more and more in the knowledge and depth of that insight, for it is in You that we live and move and have our being.

Saturday:
God, we want to see Your ways become the ways of all people. May we show our desire for this by making Your ways fully our ways. Show us where Christian Community falls short of Your will for the body, and guide us in truly being Your hands and feet in our world.
